FRICTION REDUCER

DESCRIPTION

FRICTION REDUCER is a highly concentrated surfactant that acts as a lubricant in water-base drilling fluids. A torque reducing film is formed both on the drill string and the surface of the mud cake where it applies the lubricating properties of oil without leaving water-insoluble pollutants or adversely affecting the rheological properties of the system. It is effective in most water based systems, including workover fluids.
