KCL SUBSTITUTE

CLAY STABILIZER

DESCRIPTION

KCL SUBSTITUTE is a combination of amines and surfactants designed to stabilize reactive clay and shales when drilled with water-based drilling fluids or stimulated with fluids which cause clay swelling. KCL SUBSTITUTE will also prevent the swelling or migration of water-sensitive clays in injection wells and producing well formations. This product is very effective at low concentrations and can readily be added to the system without shear. KCL SUBSTITUTE also has application in acidizing, fracturing, and aqueous pre-flush fluids.
